Its a pitty, this place has everything it needs to be successful but let down by inexperienced, unmotivated, untrained and unprofessional staff.
We came for 2 course lunch and attempted to order the buy 1 get 1 drinks offer. The staff members immediately told us its for one person only. Something that was not mentioned on the offer hence ridiculous to be adamant to enforce it - especially in a place lacking customers. Friendly suggestion: Try Customer Service! Tjis is something that this place sees as the nuisance between luring in customers and collecting the money….
The food was surprisingly well presented though lacking flavors. The king crab tartar was stone cold, probably pre-prepared and just taken from tge fridge. The dish was served as starter while rest of us was still waiting for starters another 10 minutes. When we reminded the waiter she told us its only 2 people in the kitchen but looking at the open kitchen there were at least 6. Besides, F&B 101 would be cooking and preparing dishes so that the guests can dine together…obviously they dont think cha chan teng style Service is an issue when carving out 400 bucks a guest.
The wagyu beef came sliced into 4 pieces which was obviously precooked and warmed up. Showing no fresh cut but a rainbow color film on each cut. Its a pitty. The truffle mash rasted artificial and is in 21st century nothing creative anymore.
The salmon was ok though barely seasoned as well. Only the japanese dried fish crumbs on top made up for it. Sayce was good but the beans were blend and lacking salt.
We asked for the manager but not on duty and nobody else felt responsible hence sharing feedback here.

Read morePretty restaurant on a clear sunny day, but it can get quite hot around noon due to the glass ceiling. Set lunch is good value with a nice variety of options. The snow crab tartare was delicious, if a tad under-salted. The cold pasta was excellent.
My only problem with this place is the service - specifically the timing of how the courses were served. Half the table had their starters served fairly quickly, but the rest of us had to wait a long time for ours. We asked our friends to eat first as we didn’t want their food to get cold sitting there, but that meant they’d finished off their starters by the time ours arrived. I was still eating my starter when my main arrived and it was the first main to be served.
The service staff are not very well trained, as the waiter stood there with my dish and gave me an impatient look when I indicated I was still half way through my starter and had nowhere to put the main dish. It’s just bad planning to serve the mains first to those who were served their starters last.
Would I come back? Maybe for the set lunch as the food was generally good and it’s value for money. But I’d think twice about coming in a larger group due to their...
Read moreCame here with family on the first day of the year, we ended up there majorly because of the short waiting time. Food was okay but the portion was quite small and not worth the price.
We ordered a few dishes: fried corn, squid, crab pasta, three yellow chicken and charred broccoli. As mentioned by other reviewers, pasta was overcooked and lack in flavour. The chicken and corn were better among all dishes. The taste of the squid was interesting, while pickled vegetable which was usually found in Taiwanese beef noodles was added to the broccoli, given the dish a weird twist.
Last but not least, the staff was so inattentive, we had to keep our hand up for a while to have our water...
