If you're considering dining at this restaurant, I sincerely and strongly advise against it. Despite the glowing reviews, my experience was extremely disappointing and not worth the price. The food was a complete disaster, and I feel compelled to warn others not to be misled.
I went in with high expectations because of the reviews, but the reality was a huge letdown. The pizza was terrible: dry, with stale dough and cold toppings that seemed carelessly thrown on. It felt like it had been sitting out for days. Unlike the fresh, hot pizzas I enjoyed in Italy, this was more like a leftover.
The burrata cheese was equally disappointing—sour and watery, with only one or two cherry tomatoes accompanying it. Charging over 200 for this is completely unjustifiable.
They charge 50 HKD for a bottle of ordinary water, which is outrageous.
Dessert was no better. Paying 98 for a few bites of soggy, coffee-flavored bread felt like a total rip-off.
The waitress may have been smiling, but it felt like a façade and bait in the hook given the restaurant's poor quality.
Despite the positive reviews I see on Google, my experience was a total disappointment. There are far better dining options in Mui Wo.
I can't recommend this place to anyone. The food quality was a major letdown, especially on a day as special as my birthday.
I urge you to AVOID this restaurant and spare yourself the experience. Spread the word to friends and family: this is a place to SKIP.
If anyone ever goes to Mui Wo, the best advice I can give is to avoid Grill House by Capo Group—it's an ABSOLUTE SCAM.
Once again, I'm not trying to insult the restaurant, but based on the food quality, it was underwhelming and truly not worth the price. I'm providing constructive feedback here for...
Read moreI was a bit conflicted about this restaurant because the waiter was super nice but when we entered at around 8:30 pm, he were craving a seafood pizza but unfortunately apparently since the chef wasn’t at the restaurant, a lot of dishes weren’t made available for us to choose from. We ended up trying the anchovies pizza which was pretty good! It had a thin crust and it was a nice addition to have added the tomato sauce which is quite different from the other anchovy pizzas I’ve tried. Then we ordered a cheese platter which was strangely under the desserts sections but the portion size was super super small! Everything tasted like high quality but the portions were wayyy too small for HKD 98. The portions for that cheese platter included: 3 grapes, 4 blueberries, 4 types of cheeses, a small cup of honey, 5 small slices of apple and 4 toasted pieces of bread. The food quality was pretty good but it’s just that the price seemed quite...
Read moreI did read all the terrible reviews on Facebook and i saw none of what was described, I guess it used to be true and it may have made them decide to fix everything they were doing wrong. So do not believe those reviews they are certainly outdated. I simply love this restaurant, great addition to Mui Wo F&B landscape. Prices are real good, not overpriced Beverages. Everytime I go i take the Burrata and cold cuts and it is huge, just add a cheese platter and they set it together and a massive board. Perfect to share while enjoying one of their numerous choice of Gin & Tonic. Desserts are very tasty and top level. Also I previously tried a Calzone and it was perfect. Service is attentive but not intrusive. Friendly staff. I won't miss an opportunity to...
