Note: Although the price might seem cheap at first, remember, it's a fonte(Buffet), so there is a time limit, and the price on the menu outside excludes the service charge commonly found in Hong Kong(10% service charge), so be aware of that. Please also note to keep your receipts if you do dine here and is using the car park here, as it reduces the fare if you spend any sort of money in this mall.

Food: 3/5 Most of the wagyu beef and the AU Prime Long Grain Fed Beef were tender and delicious, though the same can't be said for the pork, lamb, and beef tongue. In Chinese, we describe the gamy flavor of sheep meat as "蘇味", unfortunately, the lamb in this store lacked it, it felt like tasting beef without any meaty flavor to it. The pork was mediocre at best, it was sliced thinner than most other all-you-can-eat restaurants, and overall, there's nothing exceptional about the meat. The beef tongue itself lacked the beef gamy flavor, and some of them was also not defrosted for long enough, leading to a beef tongue with less than desirable taste. As much as I am dissing on the meat, there are many great aspects that allows me to still give it a solid score of 3. First, there is a wide variety of vegetables and noodles you can pick from(It's an AYCE after all) , like for the noodles section there are hand-made noodles(手打麵), udon, instant noodles, etc. and for vegetables, there are scallions, mini Tientsin Pakchoi(娃娃菜), etc. Second, the store allows customers to scoop their own Haagen Daz ice cream, and they allow you to go for any size you want. It's unlike many other buffet where you are only allows to get pre-made cups of ice creams, and it's certainly an experience that you can't find much. Finally, it's the assortment of drinks, excluding the limited choice of beer, as there's only Asahi Super Dry(The 330ml silvery color can), there's other drinks like Lotte's aloe Vera, which is sweet and contains a lot of nata de coco, it's very refreshing to drink in a all-you-can-eat hot pot buffet.

Service: 4/5 The staffs were nice and doesn't rush you out, and one of the staff who was replacing the drinks even told me to get the ones on the left, as the ones on the right are newly replaced, and wasn't as chilly and refreshing as the ones in the fridge for a longer time. It's a simple gesture that they weren't required to do, it was certainly a great time there.

Atmosphere: 4/5 One thing I hate about hot pot buffet in Hong Kong, is that the whole area, from the chairs to the stove area, it's all greasy and oily from the rpeivous customers. Thankfully, this store offers a warm lighting and overall the place is quite clean, it certainly feels more stylized than most of the hot pot buffets you can find, it's definitely more glamorous than...

Gyu Jin has several outlets in Hong Kong, while the one we tried is at Telford Plaza. They specialize in Japanese style hot pot, Shabu Shabu. Their concept is time based all you can eat. You can select from 1 hour or 90 minutes and within this time frame you can order as much meat as you want. They have several grades of beef, we opted for the Supreme Japanese Wagyu beef. You have the choice of 7 different kinds of soups and with 4 persons you will get 2 pots for cooking. The meat is freshly sliced and brought to the table. For the condiments, sauces, vegetables, noodles, different meat / fish balls there is a buffet table. The star of course is the beef and it really is very good. It is sliced thinly enough, it is juicy, tender and almost melts in your mouth. If you're not full after all this beef, you can have different flavors of Haagen Dazs ice cream, which is included in the price. Service in general is efficient and quite friendly. If you go for the 90 minutes Supreme Wagyu course it will set you back HK$ 319 per person. Children to a certain height eat at 50% of the adult price. Given the quality of the beef, it is good...

horrible service. Waiter rudely refused to speak english by rudely saying no. If you can’t speak english at least kindly refuse. The food was okay but we weren’t given what we paid for. We ordered the wagyu beef set with normal beef and beef tongue. They only gave 1 wagyu beef plate in our table. Once we finished our meals. They told us we still had 4 wagyu beef left and we wouldn’t finish it and was angry that they didn’t give us the wagyu beef while we were eating. They could’ve given us the wagyu beef when there was space for them to put them. What a...

It was alright. We opted for the top grade wagyu, flavour was pretty good but the soup was a little bland for our palette, meat was ok, and general quality was just ok. We also didn't like that they didn't have any normal soy sauce or salt at the condiments corner since our soup was so bland. The tea was probably the highlight
