Guimanlong — Restaurant in Nanjing City

A country wide chain restaurant that we stumbled upon at Deji Plaza. Having skipped lunch, plus the usual greedy me, we clearly over-ordered. The Deep Fried Tofu cubes reminded me of the ones I had in one of the restaurants in Beijing. Delightfully savoury and crispy but still soft and moist inside. The Sweet & Sour Pork was good, not wow though, I think we could have done without it. That golden soup was amazingly flavourful, didn't expect it to be such a huge portion though. It's like for a table for 10 pax sia. The Roast Chicken (叫花鸡) is their specialty with limited portions a day so I certainly couldn't pass on it.
