Tromba Rija — Restaurant in Sé

Had an amazing time on my birthday. Chef Telmo Gongo was attemptive to all our needs and requests, such a nice person, caring all the time of the reposition of the buffet dishes, and giving special attention to the guest to be sure that they were having a nice dinne experience. A really nice place where you can taste different authentic Portuguese flavors.

One not so good note to the staff service, being too pushy in asking my guests to settle up the bill while they are still eating and far from the closing time. Personally I felt that wasn't polite to request someone to pay before even finish the meal, even more for a buffet. I would like to suggest that someone give them some formation about how to deal with the clients in a more polite way... Not pleased seeing one of my friends being pushed to pay the bill while he was still eating...

Tumbs up again to Chef Telmo Gongo that promptly apologize for that inappropriate request from a member of the staff.

Quite pleasant but nothing to write home about. We got a discount via facebook so reasonable value. Good thing is that it's quite small so not over crowded. However only small quantities of food we're brought mtttat a time so some items e.g. pig - I had to request. The waitress, however did offer to bring some to my table when it was ready, which was some...

If I could put zero stars to this restaurant I would do it. Every year the quality of the food has been dropping and dishes served are cheaply prepared. Almost feels like they are struggling to afford top quality dishes. Highly recommend to save your money and spend it somewhere else. 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻
