Today, I ventured into Sai Kung and stumbled upon the Village Malaysian and Indian Restaurant! The high ratings across all platforms had me excited, and let me tell you, it did not disappoint! This place was full of delightful surprises! 🤩🌊 🍽️ Recommended Dishes: Traditional Malaysian Rendang Beef The potatoes were cooked to perfection, and the beef was tender and bursting with flavor. The blend of spices was heavenly, leaving me craving more with the perfect level of heat – a luxurious treat for my taste buds!🔥🥩 Roti Canai The crispy exterior and fluffy inside create a perfect texture. Paired with a special dipping sauce, it was so delicious that I found myself ordering extra servings – simply irresistible! 🥳🥄 Banana Lassi This drink was outstanding! Not only did it cool down the spice, but with its creamy yogurt base, it felt refreshingly healthy. I can't recommend this enough!🍌🥛✨ Malaysian Pomelo Salad A refreshing and crunchy dish that tantalized my senses, the pomelo's sweet and tangy flavor was the perfect complement to the main courses, adding depth to the meal!🍊🥗 And I can't forget to mention the staff! Their warm and welcoming attitude made me feel right at home. Every interaction was filled with smiles, enhancing my dining experience immensely! ❤️🥰

The Village Malaysian and Indian Restaurant is located on Po Tung Road in Sai Kung. They are open from 12 to 10pm daily and have indoor and outdoor seating. The menu is a large variety of traditional Indian dishes and a fair number of Malaysian classics.

During a recent lunch we tried their Beef Rendang that was ok. The beef was fine but the stew was very sweet, lacked the pungent rich flavours we were hoping for. We also tried the Chicken Tikka Masala that was good, the chicken was barbecued nicely and the sauce was decent. We did like the large portions of both. Pilau rice and garlic naan were both very good.

Overall, not the best versions of these popular Indian nor Malaysian dishes but not bad either. The food is good enough if you fancy either and are looking for a good spot for groups to have a meal.

Note: This is a vegetarian and allergy friendly restaurant, staff are happy to accommodate these dietary needs if...

Great experience at village We went to this restaurant on Saturday afternoon after a long hike.while we were looking at the menu the manager started chatting to us. He seems very nice so we went in and sit outside and ordered a draft of Gwei.lo larger which was nice and cold . Papadum came together with the beers And their mint sauce was so good that we refilled and they were happy to refill We ordered food like Chicken tikka - was very juicy and tasty Vindaloo chicken - very hot but flavour was very nice Roti canai - very fresh hot and fluffy Garlic naan - smelled so good Beef rendang - one of the best in hong kong Indian friend rice - kids loved it . We will definitely become their regular customers so glad we found this place The service was great very friendly The food was amazing Outdoor sitting makes you feel like You are on a holiday with good...

I'm not a huge fan of dishes with a lot of sauce. But I do love the beautiful deep, spicy flavours in Indian cooking. I recently visited Village because I wanted Indian cooking and I asked them any dishes you can do more dry cooked without so much sauce. I said I loved fish and squid. The owner was really lovely and kind and he made the two dishes shown in the picture. Very delicious. Very impressed!! I also want to mention the lovely atmosphere make you feel like home. Also some cool Indian music and lovely staff who care about customers so well. Can't wait for next visit!
