Incredibly disappointed by the food here, no idea how they earned a Michelin star. Out of 7 dishes ordered, only two were really good (the ox tongue and the chili shrimp). For the fish dish we ordered, I was flabbergasted at the poorly executed preparation--the chef made the extremely questionable choice to not only leave the scales on the fish (???), but also to cut the fish into sections without filleting it. This left tons of tiny bone fragments scattered inside the meat. For any Chinese restaurant, I would have expected either a whole fish (with bones), or filleted sections.
The service isn't even that great either: One waitress for 5+ tables Other significantly cheaper (and non-michelin starred) restaurants have no problem checking on your table constantly and topping off your tea, while we had to pour for ourselves here. No jacket covers for the seat The restaurant was 'out' of a significant number of dishes--we tried ordering three or four items only to be told that either they didn't have it or hadn't been cooking it for a while already. Why have it on your menu at all?
These are mostly very minor complaints, I know, but I'd expect a very high standard of service if I'm going to spend 2-3x what I'd spend at any other classy establishment, especially if the food quality is lacking--you have to make up for it somewhere.
Expect to pay 400-700RMB per person here,...

The main course, shrimps were fresh and tasty; the beef, unfortunately, was not to my liking, too much spice which covered the natural beef flavor. The fried pork buns were fried perfectly, just wish they had...
