special experience in Shanghai There are not a lot of places where you can be close to North Korean people. This restaurant is one of the places where it is (a little) possible. Located in a hotel in Pudong, Shanghai, you can enjoy North Korean beer and food. There are performances with sing and dance twice a night, so make sure you are there on time to see it. There is also a Pyongyang bar but when I was there it was not busy. The food is very good, a bit spicy but I liked it. Special experience. WeChat pay accepted. It is owned and operated entirely by North Koreans, which was a bit of a shock to a Westerner like me. But the staff were very friendly and the food was good. But some of your South Korean favorites might be missing from the menu. That being said, the menu was in English and had lots of pictures. They also do a show and dance on the weekends, but no photos are allowed.
