Located in a nondescript area close to Nanjing Road, this was by far our favourite restaurant in Shanghai. We arrived at 7pm on a weekday, got a number from the counter, and waited for about 20mins for a table. Every single dish was so darn good and ridiculously cheap (veggie dishes cost around 5 USD and meat dishes cost around 10 USD)! I felt this place served the best braised pork in Shanghai, and one of our favourites was the stir-fried long beans and eggplant.
