Shanghai Zhangxiaoquan Daojian — Attraction in Shanghai

I bought one of their knives before and was happy with it, so when I came to Shanghai, I wanted to get another. Unfortunately, the experience this time was terrible because of how rude the salespeople were.

There was a man and a woman, both around 40-50 years old. I asked if there were any promotions, explaining that I got a discount last time. Instead of a helpful response, they were arrogant and kept saying, “We never do that. Show me, show me, if you have the receipt.” When I showed them, they reluctantly said, “OK, XXX RMB, that’s all I can do,” in a very dismissive and condescending tone.

When I was still deciding whether to take the offer, they kept saying things like I should be happy with the ‘special discount’ and appreciate it. They made me feel like I was begging them to sell me the knife, rather than being treated as a customer.

In the end, I didn’t buy anything because of how rude they were. It was such an unpleasant experience, and I definitely wouldn’t...

I visit Shanghai frequently and i purchased a new knife and scissors at this store. i found them to well made, keeps a great edge of sharpness and the scissors are my go to kitchen tool. Ill be buying more...
