Rainbow Roll – $116 This vibrant roll lives up to its name, visually resembling a rainbow with its array of colorful fish atop each piece. Upon request, the restaurant omitted mayonnaise, allowing the freshness and balance of ingredients to shine through. The roll features slices of salmon, tuna, and bonito on top, offering a variety of textures and flavors in a single dish. Avocado and cucumber inside the roll add creaminess and crunch, expanding the mouthfeel and enhancing the overall structure. The use of avocado with sashimi is a standout pairing—unexpected yet harmonious.
Spider Roll – $96 This specialty roll features crispy soft-shell crab, avocado, cucumber, and imitation crab stick. The crab is lightly battered and fried to a crisp without being greasy, delivering both crunch and flavor. A drizzle of teriyaki sauce adds a layer of sweetness and umami that complements the rich texture of the fried crab. The sauce also brings balance, preventing the roll from feeling overly heavy while tying all the ingredients together.
Sake-Steamed Clams – $128 These clams are delicately steamed in sake, offering a broth that is aromatic yet not overpowered by alcohol. The clams are notably fresh and free of grit, yielding a clean, briny flavor. The broth is enriched with the subtle sweetness of sautéed mushrooms and finely chopped onions, briefly cooked in butter to create a silky finish. The result is a light but flavorful soup that highlights the natural sweetness of the shellfish and the complexity of the sake base.
Sesame Chicken Wings (2 pcs) – $38 These wings are lightly fried to achieve a crisp-skinned exterior without a heavy batter. The seasoning includes a touch of shichimi togarashi, giving the wings a mild heat and a fragrant lift. The sesame seeds add nutty depth and texture, enhancing the overall flavor. The wings are well-prepared—juicy on the inside, crisp on the outside—and leave you wanting a...
