One of the rare restaurant spots that opens till 3AM so it's a great spot to eat and drink late at night if you're in the area. My cousins decided to take me here because all the other local restaurants were closed already and honestly the food here isn't all that bad. It's located one street behind Young Uk Wet Market and you'll have to climb a few steps to get to the actual dining area of the restaurant. You order everything via a QR code that the server provides you and unfortunately it's all in Chinese so if you're ordering, just order off of pictures, which is what I did. Luckily my cousins were able to order for me and just asked what I wanted to eat since I cannot read Chinese. The atmosphere is more geared towards locals and the younger crowd, like early uni and even late high school students. Read moreAuthentic Hong Kong style street food but in a nicer environment and more hygienic. The atmosphere will be 5 star because it's definitely in a better environment but lost the special outdoors by the street feel. It's still good nonetheless but it's sad to see HK does not allow more street food vendors.
Anyways this place was able to reproduce the flavours and style of cooking like "dai Pai dong". It's very quick to serve your ordered dishes and accompanied with beer. It's a place to chill and relax. Especially after a long week.
All the food are good and especially a few hard to find dishes like the "prawn toast"
Highly recommend with a bunch of people so you can try more different dishes and especially with a few beers to talk trash for the night !...
