A hidden oasis for good vibes, delicious bites, and a fashionable crowd—the perfect happy hour or snack stop (16,000-45,000 COP per person). Ring doorbell for entry (see photos). 2 mini empanadas (8,000 COP) make the PERFECT snack. Indoor and outdoor seating (including covered tables for 2-8 people). Dog friendly 🐶
👥 The crowd is eclectic—fashionable couples (think gaucho pants, wide brimmed hats, suede jacket, and double earring—on the men), young local queers, and French tourists of all ages. And of course their gorgeous pure bred dogs are welcomed warmly 🐩 And while the American light rock seemed out of place at first, it grew on me as I sipped my cocktail.
☕️ 🥐 WHAT TO ORDER: This eclectic menu is pastry and coffee centric with everything made onsite and by hand (sit on the patio to watch them prep the dough!) And the menu rotates every month. 🥃 The orange espresso cocktail (31,000) is refreshing and the 🥟empanadas are small but divine (8,000 each and 2 is the perfect snack). Ask for the picante salsa on the side if you’re craving a...
Read moreI walked into the cafe around 11:30am on a Monday and asked for a menu. No menu provided. I thought maybe they stopped serving and ordered baked goods from the counter. When I sat down they were clearly serving a la carte items to other diners. Why wasn’t I given a menu? Iced americano I ordered came out a foamy mess. By that I mean 1/8 liquid and 7/8 foam. Also there was no ice found in the drink. So I drank a room temperature foam. Also after I ordered from the counter and walked to pay the cashier I was asked if I wanted to add service charge. I did anyway but I found the question to be odd. Asking for service tip when you haven’t even bothered to give me a menu? Please do better. I expected to walk into a cute cafe with friendly and warm people - what I got instead was people that seemed to be doing me a favor.
The beef empanada and cream cheese filled mini croissant was tasty but pales in comparison to the bad service...
Read moreAn intimate brunch experience with exquisite food and impeccable service in a garden setting. Tucked on a residential street steps away from the verdure of Parque Virrey, you might mistake Les Amos Bizcocheria for a house. Look for the large, orange door and you will enter a garden wonderland. The small entryway gives way to a large, winding interior with lots of small tables. The back patio/garden has several bigger tables capable of seating up to 14 people. The food is small but scrumptious. I recommend taking a trip to see all of the different types of pastries and empanadas. Staff will take great joy in explaining each salty or sweet pastry to you. I highly recommend making a reservation as Les Amis Bizcocheria is a high quality experience and therefore does not have a high...
