Service overall gets a 1 star at this location. Food's good Atmosphere is Hot, lacking A/C
Our server Daniela C@dena. Failed to give us the minimum service expected for any restaurant. To the managers who failed to train their staff on service skills. I would suggest the following points be taken into your training at this location.
Keep your employees busy and not have them gossiping in front of customers. Doesn't look professional and distract the server from being attentative to the client.
*Greet the guess as soon as they sit and give them guidance to the online menu or provide the papers Menu. Not have us wait over 10 minutes until we were able to finally order.
*Had to grab the attention of the server to bring drinks out in a timely fashion, especially water. This was after we had already ordered.
*When the food came to our table, the server was nowhere. So when the client receives their food, have the served pass by and see if everything is ok or if the client needs something else. Like in our case, extra napkins and drinks refill. (which we never got)
*So, at this point, at the end of the meal, plates stacked all over the table. The server didn't come, not even once. I figure we had to get up and pick up the plates ourselves. We had to grab the attention of the server once again, not surprised considering the bad attention she provided. Another point to practice, pick up your guess plates as soon as they finish! To have ordered entries and main course meals with drinks, that's a lot of plates to talk over!
*If it wasn't for the other servers who brought us the food and brought our bill (yes, that's right, not even the serve attending the table brought our bill) we still managed to order desert, which is what we had came for originally.
Would I go back to this location, No.
Train your staff better, be more present on the floor, and see what is lacking at the client's tables who, at the end of the day, are paying good money...
Read moreThe weekend starts here, and this usually means meeting with my wife’s sister (SIL) and her husband (BIL) for a meal at a local restaurant. On this particular Friday, we were running late, so we decided to dine nearby at Crepes and Waffles on Carrera 1. Due to our late arrival, there was no line to get into the restaurant, and we were seated promptly. We had a meal from Crepes' extensive menu that catered to everyone's preferences. My wife and SIL had the Sopa del Sol, which is pumpkin soup, followed by the Valparaiso Salad with Smoked Salmon, Quinoa, and Kale. I tried a new item on the menu called Arracachips, which are kettle-fried potato chips served with two dips, followed by a Turkey breast Pita sandwich and a couple of glasses of wine. There was a slight issue when my BIL, who likes to drink a Chai latte made with Almond milk along with Pandebono for supper, found that it was not on the menu. He requested a Chai latte to accompany the Pandebono waffles, and the wait staff made commendable efforts to accommodate his request. They first brought a tea bag containing a Chai mix along with a jug of hot Almond milk. We explained that the Chai mix needed to be infused with boiling water before adding the milk, so they brought a jug of hot water to the table. Unfortunately, this attempt was not successful, and the Chai latte did not meet expectations. The Pandebono crepes with whipped cream were satisfactory. Our adventure in Cali continues. Tomorrow we are going to walk down Avenida 9 North in Granada to see what we can...
Read moreWill never ever ever again in my life come back to this place. I found it convenient since it’s right next to the hotel that I’m staying at however, first time that I went, I was in this place for two hours, mind you it was just me at the table. Took them 30 minutes to bring me a menu, then another 30 minutes for them to take my order. Then almost 45 minutes for them to bring me a salad. Decided to come again today because I wanted to try their breakfast and I figured maybe they were just really busy the night that I went. I arrived at 11:45 AM when they had just opened. Service was just as terrible as the first time that I went. Took them 20 minutes to bring me the menu thankfully I already knew what I wanted for appetizer and drink. When they came to bring me my food, they took my order for my entrée and it literally took them 40 minutes to come back and tell me that the item that I ordered was not available. I will never come back to this place again. Food isn’t even that good to go through this nonsense. Not one apology...
