Mister Babilla — Restaurant in Cartagena

Es triste ver qué un negocio muy reconocido, que sufrió en medio de la pandemia allá emperorado en vez de mejorar. Creo que están bajo una nueva administración. Todo mal ahora, pésimo servicio, pésima actitud, especialmente de los administradores, como que le hacen a uno un favor por estar aquí. La comida lenta, le dañaron el 31 de diciembre a más de uno, gente enojada, esperas de más de una hora y media. Reglamente pésimo. La verdad es un lugar para evitar ir, considerando que hay muchos otros lugares donde te van a atender mejor por el mismo precio.

It is sad to see a place like this with a lot of history in the city getting worse two years later from my original review. Everything was terrible, the service was one of the worst I had in my entire life. The actitud I got from the people working in this place was as if they were making us a favor for being there. Never asked us if we needed anything, the many was missing a lot of things, the food took over 1.5 hours to get to most people at the restaurant... I know that a couple was so frustrated because the food was ready after 2 hours waiting. Honestly for the price, there are wayyyyy better place. Avoid this place.

(Review in English at the end) El lugar es bueno y la rumba es muy agradable pero tengan cuidado con la cuenta y con los precios en el menú. Pedí una gaseosa para mezclar con el alcohol que costaba 5 mil en el menú y cuando le pague la gaseosa a la mesera (una chica que usa gafas) esta me la cobro a $8000. Cuando la confronte sobre la diferencia de precios, se le ocurrió decir que estaba cobrando el servicio. Esto quiere decir que por una bebida de $5000 ella cobro $3000 por el servicio, tiene esto sentido? Después, con una mala actitud me dice que me va a devolver solo $2000 (como haciéndome un favor) y que se iba a quedar con mil. Esto no se trata de perder $3000 o $1000, se trata de entender si esto es una practica que los meseros hacen con frecuencia y si se lo hacen a los Colombianos, que le harán a los turistas?

This is a very nice place but I had a situation where I ordered a soft drink that cost $5000 in the menu (about $2 dollars) but I ended paying $8000 for not reason. When I confronted the waitress about this she said that they charged for the service ... so, she was charging $3000 for bringing me a $5000 drink. I believe that she wanted to keep the money... ALWAYS check your bill and if possible compare all the prices in the bill...

Last year 2015 we found this was the best place after 10 pm (until 0400) and crazy different fun crowds where everyone danced with everyone and sang and drank together no matter where they came from or were going. Oh yes great prices and friendly staff, fun music videos, fast drinks. We loved it 4 times in one week. They moved 1 block to big $$$ land so we will see tomorrow!

23JAN2016-Even bigger and better than before - same fabulous owners and staff - one night wall to wall all had Viltiaos and balloon bangers like at soccer with 5 dancers on top of one bar and 3 on another..could not stop dancing. Classy place as well not like dive discos nearby. Always great music and FOOD! Good looking crowd too...

I was there at a Round if 16 Works Cup match. The place was loud, bright and filled with National Team supporters. In other words everything one could want in a sports bar. The menu was limited for the event, but the food was good and you cannot go wrong with beer. The only thing wrong was they kept turning on the laser show between periods (half, 1st OT, 2nd OT & PKs) but could not turn them off for several minutes when the game resumed. Great time except for...
