But the worst part was yet to come. When the bill arrived, I was horrified to see that I had been charged for both the incorrect pasta dish and the steak I never received. Read moreReally wanted to like this place. I saw lots of great reviews online, so I took a taxi to see if it was good. I’m in town to scope out locations for a wedding, and wanted to try out places to recommend to guests.
The location is good if you’re in walking distance, but difficult to get to by taxi.
When we got there it was pretty empty. The restaurant was set up weirdly. They sat everyone with three or less people in one part of the restaurant and groups of four or more in another part. This meant that 8 tables shared three servers, while our part of the restaurant only had one server for 10 tables. Our poor server was running around trying to do everything. Others in our section were also visibly confused when huge groups that sat down way after them got their food out first. I had to wait 15 mins to get a spoon for my soup!
The food was good, not amazing. My cazuela was good, but certainly not the best I’ve ever had. Funny enough the best food that we had was the chicken.
