Beyond Excellent Service

My mom and I visited Medellin as a family adventure. Our flight arrived at 2am in the morning and someone was at the front to check us in and handle our luggage. Smooth check in process.

We got the double connecting room on the 9th floor. 2 separate rooms with 2 twin beds. Each room has their own AC. Comfortable bathroom and warm shower. Beds were soft. Very clean. They also has a steam room but we didnt have the time to use it

Continental style breakfast with extensive options such as cereal, eggs, fruit salads, etc. Great coffee served 24 hours

Located in the centre of Laureles. 15 min walk to Estadio metro station. Min walk to the main street with bars and restuarants.

The thing we liked the most was the FANTASTIC service. Out of all the hotels we stayed in Colombia, this is by far the best. They speak English and are very attentive.

I've been here four times over the past few years. I stay for a month or so each time. I acknowledged one of the workers named Guillermo and he called me pig in spanish thinking I did not understand him. I've never been insulted at a hotel in my life. I used to think this place was okay even though they are extremely overpriced for the quality of the rooms and location. I figured I'd stay here because I knew the staff at the hotel pretty well && most workers here are friendly. This will be the absolute last time I visit this hotel indefinitely after being called a pig. It's bad enough it sounds like a pigeon orgy in my room every morning, but the pig comment was the last straw. If you enjoy employees that will insult you if they think you can not understand them then this is your place, if you want a quality room I suggest other places. There is a lot to dislike about this hotel. A matter of taste is the black and white interior with pure white lighting, horrible to me. You won't have an exces of space in your rooms and windows are not see through to have a view outside. What is worse, is that there is no proper maintenance. I have repaired a blind and the wash basin stop myself. The airconditioner filters were seriously clogged, demonstrating that there is no maintenance routine for this. This was room 525. After returning from Bogotá we had room 722. Same thing with the airco and the wash basin. On top, while getting under the shower after midnight and the water getting hot, it turned out that the cold water tap wasn't working. I cannot imagine that this was not reported by a previous guest.
