The food is decent. The service is attrcious. Yes, I am a gringo. And no, my spanish is poor.

But the crappy waiter I had wasone of the worst ever.

I ordered Mixed Grill. I pointed to it and read it aloud. I got Cuban Grill instead.

I ordered Mandarina Frappé. I got Jugo de Mandarina.

After the waiter took my order, I never saw him again.

I flagged down a waitress and asked for Gaseosa. In Spain, Gaseosa is a sweeted lemon lime carbonated water. About 1/4 as sweet as 7-up. Apparently in Colombia, Gaseosa just means carbonated drinks. Soda.

From across the room the waiter shouts “La Cuenta” to the waitress, which means bring him the check.

Obviously, just like when he took my order, he wasn’t listening to a thing I was saying.

To add insult to injury, the bill was $69,000. The most I have paid for a meal since arriving. A mixed Cuban Grill, fries, a glass of juice and a 7-Up. That is $25 US.

I went to this restaurant 7 years ago and loved it. I returned last night. The food looked good. But our waitress was the absolute laziest, rudest and most hostile person I have ever seen working in a restaurant. (La costeña con el pelo de trenzas o cola de caballo) They were out of many things, she refused to return to our table to take a drinks order, the cook had to bring our appetizer to the table because she was so lazy, we had to ask her for plates and silverware. She threw them down and didn't apologize. We paid for our appetizer and water and cancelled our order and left. I told her she was rude. She should be fired immediately. If you go there and see the girl with the ponytails working - keep walking to any other restaurant. She will ruin...

Super solid traditional grilled meats and more. The food is simple, yet delicious and the value and quality is excellent. The restaurant is not fancy, but it is clean and one can enjoy downtown Laureles while eating on their patio. The servers were all very nice and professional and we enjoyed our arepa chocólo, grilled pork skewer and fresh lemonade and orange juice combo. The serving size is very good and the flavor was very good. I would definitely recommend this place to grab a good tasting meal at a reasonable price. Note: All seating is outside and on a larger street corner, but this is the style of dining...
