Eutopiq — Hotel in Medellín

The room is nice. No doubt. I had a jacuzzi room and it worked great. Better speak Spanish or have a translator handy. There is no English to be heard and no one understands a word you’re speaking. Expect to wake up before 6am to the noise on the street. The breakfast is not a buffet style. It wasn’t fantastic. It’s not something I’d remember. It’s pretty much just an average breakfast. But you will die of thirst before being offered a second cup of coffee. It’s the little things that matter and this one little detail is enough for me to try another hotel. For the price, there are tons of other hotels to choose from. I stay in Medellin 4 times a month. I would not come back to this hotel - not because it’s a bad choice, but because there’s just so many better choices available. You likely won’t be disappointed with this hotel, but, unless you’ve never traveled anywhere ever, you won’t be knocked out of your...

If you plan on partying and sleeping late this is your spot. The hotel is located right next to street full of bars and restaurants. South Beach style - party wise.

If you plan on sleeping on regular sleeping hours this is NOT your spot. We were booked there for 3 nights, then after the first night, which was a Wednesday night, we couldn't sleep until 4am which was when the loud Reggaeton music ended. The windows are not noise proof, and the entire wall facing the street is a window. So you can heart the music as if it was playing in your room.

It was a pitty, we ended up having to find another hotel cause we were working and needed to sleep.

This is "The BEST place to stay on 70 Street!" A week long, fabulous, mid-September stay. Had a suite with a king size bed and Jacuzzi for 5 nights and then switched for 2 nights to a huge room with a king bed and a balcony! Johanna, Manuela, the maintenance guy, the restaurant servers, the cook and even the plumber and electrician were excellent! I was well attended to and really felt that everyone was going out of their way to make my stay great! Can't thank them enough! Breakfast was superb and I tipped EVERYONE (even left them some beers in the fridge!).

It costs a bit more, but great location, amenities, service and convenience to EVERYTHING (bars, metro, restaurants, university, tours, grocery stores, beauty salons, etc ...) made is...
