Trópico Rooftop — Restaurant in Medellín

INTRO AND LOCATION: Had a great time eating here. The place is in a rough part of the city downtown and the entrance was hard to find. There is a tall door with black frames and glass with a scrolling LED sign by it.

FOOD: I got the hamburger. The French fries were cut from a potato. And the sauce that came with it was delicious. The burger was really filling and a great sandwich. My friend ordered the shrimp which came with some red sauce and 3 big tostones. Really good. Another friend of mine ordered the Solomito which is like steak and potatoes. They also had the pollo pizza which they said was fire. VIEWS: the view on the rooftop is great and that on top of the music sets the vibe.

SERVICE: you should know Spanish if you want good service. I tried and was able to do well and my Spanish is medium. I think the liquor in Medellin is watered down honestly but the bottles are reasonably priced for being in a restaurant.

Overall I’m glad I went there....

Jamás calificaré mal un lugar en estrellas le pongo las 4 porque esto hace mucho daño , la gente vive de esto , pero si uno va un poco más a fondo pues : A la piscina le pinto un 10 la vista , la piscina, buenísima . He ido muchas veces , pero cada vez veo cosas más terribles , ( aclaro que seguiré visitando el lugar por la piscina , pero la comida es carente de buenos ingredientes, muy simple , básica , sin sabor , espera uno un poco más, beneficios costo , calidad , recetas , es muy, muy bajo el nivel gastronómico para un lugar tan bonito , vinos caricimos que son de muy baja calidad, , la atención es muy peculiar, hay veces buena otras que uno dice , válgame dios . El baño de los hombres no cierra , es increible , lo que ví hoy fue a la del aseo lavando la trapear en el lava manos ajajajja me causó hasta gracias, en sí el nivel es muy bajo , la verdad algo tan bello debe ser mejor , pero En sí, y a destacar , es quizás uno de los lugares con más potencial en Medellín, ojalá puedan mejorar lo mucho , mucho, que falta , porque es un gran parche un gran lugar con los...
