I am complaining this time not that I usually bother when staff are plain rude I ignore them but 1 member of staff in the Clacton on sea Essex Costa's was appalling to me today. staff supervisor I presume?. Acting like a police patrol barking in a loud voice at me to basically leave if I wasn't going to order anything else after i had recently paid for and ate my breakfast. Basicaly a fresh que was forming and the shop was busy so would need my seat. I was only taking up a small corner single table and 1 chair as if I was some delinquent out to steal untrained not customer friendly with an atrocious attitude. Description of this awful woman: straight brown hair fringe, hair tied back, bad expressions middle aged, was extremely rude to me today and yesterday as it happens. Several staff are lovely here, but there are one or two that lack basic manners proper communicative skills and a disgusting patronising and rude attitude. This woman actually turned round to me today and said as she did yesterday are you going to order another drink or something as we have a que here and few tables free. As if I had no right to even still be sitting there whilst I was trying to relax sitting quietly minding my own business at my laptop, after a porridge and hot chocolate order. How dare she! I wished I knew her name so I could name and shame to show her how she would like to be made so unwelcome and truly untrained and ignorant.because of this horrible woman I shall boycott this Costa's and make sure all to avoid her. Costa managers need to sack her or at least retrain her properly. She beeds to kearn manners how to welcome speak to and treat people. she must so obviously hate her job and have so little grace and manners with customers. I will never enter Clacton Costa's again because of it and shall warn all to avoid the place at all costs. Disgusting. I feel sorry for her fellow colleagues havibgvto put up with her embarrassing and crude manner. I don't care if she's s supervisor or manager she's in professional uncouth and should never be front of house dealing with customers. if this is the way she talks to others. She's a disgrace to the company and would do better to work far away from law abiding minding their own...
   Read moreI visited this store a few times while I was on holiday and one specific encounter bought me to make this review. I had a complicated order and I usually have to explain things to staff whilst they are making the drinks because things naturally get forgotten. Throughout this member of staff making the drinks she became more irritated with myself and then when I asked for sprinkles (usually something that is forgotten) she snapped and said "It's getting there" this was a very unessisary comment and before this I requested my drinks to be topped to a certain point as I use the cups daily and know how much it can be filled before the lid goes on, she tried to tell me otherwise and I calmly corrected her which irritated her more. This seems minor but it left me feeling uncomfortable and I didn't want to return. I can describe the member of staff in question if management would like to look into...
