Soda Yuki — Restaurant in Alajuela

This was a convenient location, since we dropped off our rental car at the carwash before we headed back to return it and head to the airport. This vegan cafe was a walking distance and El Chante ( super yummy vegan cafe nearby) was closed until 12pm, so we decided to give this one a try. We ordered three dishes and Chop Suey was a better one. I also liked the tea with tapioca. In addition the service was quick. I do have to make a disclaimer that we have lived in the Bay Area, California and got spoiled by the abundance of Chinese, Vietnamese, Thai, etc.,...

I did order Sopa Dumplings and Cheese Tea for 6100 CRC (~10 EUR) in total. The portion was big and flavourful. This is the first time I tried cheese tea and I really liked it. It's not too sweet and compliments well with the soup. The soup itself was very reach in flavor and nice contrast if you want a break from Costa Rican cuisine. You cannot park in front of the restaurant. I parked around the corner and paid 900 CRC...

La comida tenía muy buen sabor, el bubble Tea de Oreo fue mágico. Sin embargo, me deja un mal sabor de boca la atención que recibí, una persona súper enfocada en su celular, se le tuvo que repetir cual era la orden, y cuando llegó la cocinera preguntar por las órdenes de nosotros casi no sacan mi orden porque la otra muchacha ni siquiera le explicó. 🙄 Al momento de pagar, me cobró solo los Ravioles (señas de que no prestó atención a lo que había pedido) tuve que recordarle que también había pedido un bubble tea.
