Subway — Restaurant in Alajuela

Very poor and unfriendly service. Soft drink machine was dispensing drinks with high levels of foam, while the staff seemed oblivious. Even when I was the ONLY customer waiting to be served, the lone worker was busy behind the counter re-arranging some objects and totally ignoring me. I had to ask for service twice before the unfriendly worker finally asked me what I wanted---she did not even apologize for having ignored me. Food was ok. Place was clean. Bathroom clean. Sandwiches are lovely. Coffee and cookies are great. Free refill outside the counter. I wish they would be more vegan options as the only option as "vegan" is "avocado" and veggies; but the avocado are 2 micro thinniest slices that don't really exist, mainly cause they'll be charged as additional, not a sandwich flavour of the menu selection per se. Subway es uno de mis lugares favoritos para comer cuando estoy haciendo mandados. Y es la primera vez que visito esta tienda en Alajuela. Es tan pequeña la fachada que casi la paso de largo. Pero por dentro es mas amplia y tiene un segundo piso. Yo quería comer en el segundo piso lejos del ruido de la calle pero estaban arreglando el aire acondicionado y no me fue posible. El servicio fue rápido aunque el aseo de esta tienda me pareció un poco mas deficiente que el de otras que e visitado antes.
