I.S Florcafé — Restaurant in Mata Redonda

Beautiful garden. Menu is kind of inexplicable -- overcharging for frozen dumplings (can get the exact same ones in any local Chinese supermarket) and sort-of-Szechuan dishes (like a green bean dish with egg yolk, and a 'Szechuan' potato dish that's served with ketchup for some reason) that are 1/5th the size and twice the price of Szechuan restaurants in the area. (Not that I'm an expert, but the value and quality of these dishes pales in comparison.) We are going to give a couple other things a try to be fair and I'll update the review if anything changes, but otherwise... Come for a coffee and the nice garden but probably...

Stop there for breakfast with my wife. It was early so the café was not crowded. The atmosphere was extremely pleasant, with soft instrumental music in the background. I ordered the desayuno completo which, as you can imagine, was a pretty well – rounded Costa Rican breakfast. It included gallo pinto, eggs, bacon, avocado, cheese, sour cream, and toast. The place bearky empty and yet they took 35.minutes to give us breakfast. Some of our order was not available so we changed and they brought the wrong thing after 35 minutes! They took 45 minutes dor a boiled egg! The avocado toast was not a toast! It was a pice of old bread with cheap melted mozzarela cheese. Desapointing. The price exorbitant for the quality of food. We asked for the milk of the machiato to be served separatedly and they charged extra....
