The reason we gave this place a 1 star rating is that when the bill came we were upcharged 50% and told that the prices shown were for locals and since we were tourist's we had to pay more ...and that was on top of the 10% service charge and 13% tax ( these charges we expected) We then found out that this is actually illegal... The food is great. However, like many of the recent reviews you will get 50% surcharge from the menu. This is dishonest business as we asked them the price on the English menu and they said it's the same as the Spanish one, then when the bill comes they will only then tell you there is a 50% surcharge for tourist. (For example a large taco was 2000 colonies on the Spanish menu, on the bill it ends up costing $6 usd) Avoid at all cost unless you are comfortable knowing you will get 50%...

Some of our order was OK, pork was very dry, however I really enjoyed the sausage. I would not return here again mostly because we were charged more than the prices listed on the menu as you can see the receipt for reference. $18 dollars for a meal that should have cost 6000 colones (12 dollars). He told us the beer would be 4 dollars and he charged 8 dollars. All because Spanish is not my first language. I’ve never felt more discriminated against....
