This place apparently has spectacular views, but we dined after dark. I ordered a lamb fettuccine ragu that presented more like a Bolognese - practically no tomato in the sauce which is what separates a ragu from a Bolognese. The fettuccine was undercooked - I appreciate al dente but this was borderline crunchy. My wife had the tomato relleno which was basically a stuffed tomato. Pretty tasty but I found it a little heavy on the garlic.
Our water glasses remained empty after the first serving. We said we were finished when offered dessert, but had to ask for the check after waiting an additional 15 minutes.

We had dinner at Terraza on our last night in Manuel Antonio, and it was absolutely amazing! From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel so welcome—our waiters were incredibly friendly and attentive. The food was just incredible, every dish full of flavor and beautifully presented. And the view? Simply breathtaking! Watching the sunset from the terrace made the whole experience even more special.
We only wish we had discovered this place earlier so we could have gone more than once. It’s also a hotel, and from what we saw, it looks like a fantastic place to stay. One thing to note: they only accept tips in cash, and we only had a credit card with us, so we couldn’t tip as we would have liked.
If you’re in Manuel Antonio, Terraza is a must-visit for a memorable...
Read more5 Stars – A Lunch Worth Ceviche-brating! After hiking around Manuel Antonio like jungle VIPs, we landed here — and wow, what a way to wrap up the day! The view was so stunning it nearly upstaged the food… nearly. The guava margarita? Like a tropical vacation in a glass. The ceviche trio (octopus, fish, and shrimp) was so fresh it might’ve swum onto the plate itself. Main courses? Absolutely next-level — flavor explosions in every bite. And Harley, our waiter, was the cherry on top: fun, fast, and full of good vibes. 10/10 would hike just to eat here...
