When beer making in Costa Rica is dominated by the monopoly Florida Ice and Farm Company, it's nice to find a craft brewery in an out-of-the-way town like Sámara. Unfortunately, the experience at Microbar is a bit mixed. They have a nice selection of their own brews, as well as beers from other Costa Rican craft breweries. Their cocktail menu is quite extensive. It seems it's not open when it's supposed to be (I'm sure I saw a sign on their door that stated they were open from 12 to 12.
