Casa Roosevelt Café & Galería — Restaurant in San Pedro

Let me just say how cool this place is. First off, it's very vibey on the inside with funky decor, but it's also an art gallery too. I loved taking a quick look at all the various art work on the wall and the funky little art sculptures they had on display.

The location is actually pretty perfect, right behind the outlet mall in San Pedro, which was fairly easy to get to. There is street parking that's free on Sundays. And there is a park across the street if you feel the need to work off the delicious food you just consumed.

Now, let's get to the food, which is the most important as Cafe Roosevelt is a restaurant, after all. Let me just say that just about everything I got was absolutely delicious. My strawberry milkshake was divine. My daughter also got the mora milkshake and really enjoyed it too. They were the perfect balance of sweet and fruity.

I also got the chicken nuggets and fries. The chicken was delicious, perfectly cooked, and well seasoned, but I was not a fan of the fries. They were bland and seriously under seasoned. Skip them.

I also had to try their pastries, the whole reason for my trip in the first place. I had the pistachio croissant and a creme roll. When I tell you that pistachio croissant was worth the trip, 10 out of 10 would recommend. I need to go back just for that and the milkshakes, of course.

I have been several times in this Cafe & Galeria and every time it is deserving 5 stars. It has so relaxed atmosphere, good food , coffee and also presenting different artists exhibitions. Staff is very friendly and all my stars are going to Marta who is taking care about business and she is definitely doing her best.
