Relaxing and calm atmosphere, add to that, excellent service and delicious, super good food!

I had the avocado toast which came with a massively thick all grain bread smothered with a thick avocado spread on top. This breakfast plate was also complemented with a tomato and cucumber salad on the side. And a tasty Cappachino finished off this magnificent morning dish.

The only drawback was the price was a bit too high, I think. Not only that but, I believe they will charge you extra (if you're a foreigner) the Gringo Fare pricing.

My proof of this: the day prior, I asked how much for a small bottle (600ml) of water, and the waitress said č̣2,000 colones! I said, "Why so high? No thanks." Then a few minutes later, she came back and said the water was going to be: č̣1,000 colones.

The worst place I experienced in Tamarindo. The person taking our order wrote our orders yet somehow lost all of the orders from the two steps from the front desk to the kitchen.

We told her multiple times of missing drinks and she would come back asking the same questions. Food took over an hour to arrive and most of it was wrong or missing. The coffee machine wasn't working and then miraculously started working.

Update upon review: there were 4 people in the restaurant and there was nobody in the restaurant beforehand. I ordered at 9:15 and we received our last order at 10:30. We know this because we almost missed our transportation accommodations to leave Tamarindo. So, my wife and I came in here for breakfast at 10:30 on a Saturday. We ordered the French toast and a build your own salad as well as a mocha. After about 10 minutes they came out and told us they don’t have any French toast and don’t have any kale for her salad. So we said we would leave as I was really looking for French toast but we would take the mocha to go. When that comes out it’s in a tiny cup - mind you it’s $6 U.S. for this mocha. I asked why it’s so small and then another person comes out and says it’s not even the coffee that I ordered. After that they bring out 2 of the same small to go coffee cups, but each is half full!
