Korica — Restaurant in City of Zagreb

They used to be the best.

Now, their prices have increased ~33%, and their quality has dropped. Korica (little crust) used to have the best bread crusts, now... It's simply average. It's a real shame.

On the upside, it's powerful incentive to eat less carbohydrates!

Don't miss this little gem. I'm absolutely thrilled with this local bakery. They have an impressive offering of sweet, savory, and breads. Today, I had their cinnamon buns and devoured it before I could take a photo. Excellent pound cake: the best lemon-poppy I've had in Croatia. Period.

If you’re particular about pastries and have experienced excellent ones elsewhere, I recommend avoiding this place.

While the store's layout and displays are attractive and photogenic, the pastries themselves are quite disappointing. They are too dry and not enjoyable, especially compared to the great pastries in France that I just had.

The coffee wasn’t that great either.

Additionally, there was no service at all. The gentleman with long blonde hair didn't even offer a smile.

However, if you enjoy looking at nice-looking bread and pastries and aren't too concerned about quality and taste, this place...

My excitement to try their pastries was severely diminished by the service, or should I say lack thereof. The ginger long haired person working there looked unkempt and was very discourteous and cheeky for no reason. No good morning or good day and no good bye from the worker. We left our backpack at the table and asked for a coffee in a mug instead of a paper cup at the cash desk to which he responded very abruptly and insolently. Very dissatisfied and would not recommend to go to this location if you want to try their pastries for the first time....
