I totally loved this restaurant!! ❤️❤️
First of all, it’s really hard to find a vegetarian place in istria so this is like an oasis in a food dessert for someone like me.
But it’s not only that. I’m very used to visiting vegetarian places and this one is extremely good.
The food is really amazing. The chef should get an award. It was so good that I went two nights in a row so I could try more dishes and they were all amazing. For now I tried seitan with sauce, seitan tempura fried, the Artha risotto and the Artha pasta. It would be really difficult to choose which one was the best (maybe the tempura one) and also dessert was a cake with fruits that felt like a dream.
The restaurant is hosted by its owners, which are a lovely family. We had an amazing conversation with very valuable cultural exchange. They also gave us nice tips for the rest of our holidays. Everything is homemade and very nice, even decoration.
Totally recommend and I will definitely go again (probably more than once) before my...
Read moreArtha is a cozy vegan restaurant at the edge of Porec downtown. The atmosphere is familiar and friendly, with colorful furniture and the possibility to eat outside. They have a few tables and benches on a porch on the street, not exactly a nice view, but it's pleasant to eat outside. The restaurant is a little difficult to find, you need to look for it, and there is no parking for cars nearby. When I arrived the restaurant was full, but in a few minutes a table was free for me. In summer, if you arrive after 8.30, you’ll probably need to wait for a little while. Staff was friendly and helpful, they speak fluently Croatian, Italian and English. Service was not really fast, I waited for at least 20 min for the food, but the portions are relatively large and the price is convenient. They have a good choice of vegan food, around 10 option; I enjoyed the Vege Tris, which gives you a good idea of vegan food. The dessert was ok, but I prefer non-vegan cakes. Overall a good experience also for...
Read moreIt was amazing. As a vegetarian I had to somewhat convince my family to try it, but in the end they were unanimously sad that we didn't find this place until the last night of our stay! The food was delicious and the staff were friendly and took their time explaining the dishes. The restaurant itself is situated just outside of the busy city center, but it only took 2 minutes to walk there. The atmosphere was nice and not too crowded. As I mentioned earlier the only bad thing is that I didn't discover it earlier in my visit of Poreç. One thing to think about before entering, you cannot pay by card. But even when you forget (like we did), the ATM is just around the corner and they don't mind you stepping outside...
