Cotton Club Porec — Restaurant in Grad Poreč

I usually avoid restaurants in main squares of tourist places but this restaurant was a pleasant surprise! The atmosphere was very calm, comfortable and family style. We felt as we were visiting our relatives! Food was very good. We didn't order much since it was late and we were not very hungry but what we had was very tasty: pizza was great, tuna tartare sooo delicious with all the sauces, truffle pasta ver nice made and my son appreciated tomato pasta. The service was one of the best we ever had!! Waiter was always with big smile on his face, very friendly and kind. He went above and beyond in serving us and we very much appreciated his kindness towards our six year old son who fell asleep on the chair. We had a lucky find with the Cotton Club. We actually needed a bathroom so looked for a place to order something small. It was so cozy inside and the waiter so attentive that we decided to dine in. They had a lovely display of desserts so we decided to share a slice of strawberry cake and I ordered a fruit drink. That turned out to be very tall and like a very thick smoothie. It was delicious! And the strawberry cake was the best I've ever had. It was a nice size slice that my husband and I shared. He commented how wonderfully fresh the cream was. ALWAYS CHECK YOUR RECEIPT BEFORE PAYING! We were charged for stuff we didn't order. When we confronted the waiter, he wasn't even surprised about that. They gave the money back but it was more than clear that he charged this stuff intentionally. Moreover, even when they say that something is included in the dish (fries for example), it's paid additionally. Quality/price ratio is poor. Plenty of better restaurants when you go a bit further into the city. Do not recommend.

Edit to respond to the owner: Is it my fault that your waiter told me that the fries are included while they were not? Is it my fault that your waiter clearly overcharged us to earn 6 euro? I'm not sure...
