Wow. What an amazing surpirse in Porec! We luckily wandered into this beautiful restaurant on a sunday night. It sits in a tower that is over 500 years old. We headed to the top floor, which was busy, but not over crowded. We sat down as a group of 6 and we had the most amazing waitress. She was promt and friendly and spoke amazing English. She provided great reccomendations highlighting Istrian specials. Every dish we ordered was unbelievable. We had fresh made pasta with truffles, an istrian rabbit dish, steaks (topped with truffles), the calf cheeks, a fresh caught fish (deboned table side), and the fried monkfish. We had the panna cotta and a cream hazelnut dessert. Everything was remarkable. We also had 2 bottles of local wine (again, reccomended by the waitress) and after dinner drinks and we averaged less than $60 USD per person. Honestly, I would reccomend this place...

Overall, the service left much...

The only strange thing was the fact that our waiter didn't speak english well, although he understood everything. We will come back here the next time we are in Porec.
Update: Today we returned here for the second time and we aren't disappointed. Orada is still wonderful, Mediterranean chicken tastes great, but the dessert, Bailey's mousse was extremely good! A must to try out when you visit...
