Although the restaurant is not located in an ideal place, if you want an enchanting view, it also has advantages: you can park in front of the door. It turned out to be a winning combination for us because, right after dessert, a storm started. Also (if you have time) the old core of Trogir and the promenade by the sea is nearby. The interior is thoughtfully designed, a well-integrated extension of the space - the impression of the whole. The glass walls are also very well designed, i.e. a possible problem of a large amount of sunlight. The careful decoration of the tables is also visible. The menu is not large, but there is something for all desires and preferences. We chose two meat and one fish dish. While we were waiting, we received olives, grisina and olive oil in cute ceramic containers similar to a tin can. Simply put, the food (despite the complex combination of flavors and textures) was flawless. I was impressed that (which is somewhat customary with this type of food) the quantity was so great that I was really full. I didn't even want to take the dessert (which they say was perfect) in order to keep the flavor of my enriched fish as long as possible. We were served by a young but educated waiter. Although we didn't announce it when booking, we came with a child, he quickly found a seat, utensils....Explained the dishes, asked if we needed anything....present, available but unobtrusive. Unfortunately, I didn't take pictures of the food because we couldn't resist tasting it. It's a pity, because the arrangement of the food was up to par. Check it out for yourself and enjoy.

The restaurant is attractive as soon as you get inside it's well decorated. Friendly welcoming staff. Once you seat, choose the cocktail from a short list. First sips great balance nothing to declare the bartender know his things. Little appetizer taste good. The waitress knows well the wines and she brings us great selection by glass, really enjoyed. But then the dishes arrives one by one and it's a déception, that's doesn't match with the first feeling of everything around. They use beautiful plate but the main product on the plates are not elaborate and losted with the overpowering garnish in my opinion. The seabass ikejime was hard to recognize the fish, too much different flavors around so no fish taste at all. The adriatique shrimps ceviche was better but didn't find the mix with the sweet jam interesting. The smoked mozzarella was simple, can't go wrong with that. Then the shrimp and gnocchi served in a spider crad head plate was not elaborated at all. Overall taste was good I finished all my plates but it's was a weird feeling. Maybe we had too much expectations ? Grilled squid I don't know if you're using a gaz grill or a blow torch but the taste of the gaz on it for 72euros it's a bit sad. We didn't wanted to try the dessert after that. Then the bill come and you feel it's too expensive for the cooking skills we got. After we had dinner in the other michelin recommended restaurant in town and we paid 40% less and was a better food experience. Everything is great there but the food wasn't at the level of the rest at least last night. Best regards.

I dined here approximately a month ago with some friends and had really high hopes as it was noted to be one of ‘the best restaurant’s’ in Trogir as well as having a well known chef in the kitchen however, we were all left quite disappointed.. The dishes themselves had lots of potential and were beautifully presented but unfortunately they were hit and miss. The warm appetiser ‘Jacob’ was the only dish served that was absolutely on point, the remaining dishes lacked refinement, restraint and some dishes were plain and simply bland. The Langoustine was too chuncky with no accompanying or complimentary elements on the plate to add any flavour . The Tuna was also cut too thick however, this dish came with some complimentary elements which made the Tuna more palatable and enjoyable than the Langoistine. The fish fillet was Ok however, the parsnip purée and barely were terrible, zero flavour and the portion size completely overwhelmed the plate. The lamb was tasteless and one of the biggest disappointments of the evening. The Pasta was perhaps the only saving grace as the flavours of the ragu were delicious and the reversing of the elements was a little bit of fun. The desserts were mainly deconstructed blah blah blah. All the white wine that was served was not cold enough by any means which took away the joy on a hot summers evening once you had to wait for it to cool in the ice bucket. The atmosphere was quite lovely and the staff were also very friendly and welcoming. Overall, we were disappointed but there is plenty of potential.

We visited as a family with the intention to try the 5 courses menu. The menu was a mix between traditional local cuisine, modern elements, and a personal touch by the chef. It was well put together with attention to the details and high quality ingredients. The service was good, friendly, and professional. The prices are fair. Nothing on the menu is overpriced. I'll be visiting again. Visited few moths later quality was still the same. The service has improved. The atmosphere has improved as well - we had live piano music. The prices have changed, compared to other countries, and even to other restaurants in town, Il Ponte is still surprisingly inexpensive. One must not forget following facts: educated waiters, regional and organic products, wild caught fish, modern and still authentic culinary creations, and a Michelin Start. The beef tartar was heavenly, the lobster with homemade pasta was fantastic. Everything else was great.

Excellent example how you can present Croatian food in a different style. And keep it perfect! I would recommend it to everyone who wants to try local tastes presented in a new way. Also, do not be afraid, it is almost fine dining, but price performance (and portions size) is more on a larger side. Their steak Tartar is signature dish and I can fully recommend it. Combine fish dishes with it and you will get Croatia in a nutshell within one meal. Nice cocktails, but I was pleasantly surprised when asked for white wine, they recommend Bogdanusha, local sort which goes perfect with a fish. Not lot of places has it. Treat yourself with this experience, as it is one. Also, as mentioned price performance is very good. My big plus to them!

We stumbled upon this restaurant completely by chance - two fatigued, certainly underdressed, slightly cranky & hungry tourists looking for a place to sit and enjoy some good cuisine. Although we would appreciate if the chairs could accommodate our center European behinds a bit better (they are quite narrow) we were overall quite pleasantly surprised. Food was delicious, service the best I encountered in a long while and the price was slightly lower than usual for this type of restaurant. Also I was quite afraid that the servings would be tiny - after seeing photos online, however they are quite big - we were able to finish our food but we were full! Overall 💯 recommend.
