Edit: I have the worst luck. Came back on a one day visit to Zadar and closed ona Sunday. That, and my favourite little bar opposite the police station has gone. I'm so sad. Still, this place is amazing and ill be back. I REALLY was looking forward to craft beer from Croatia. After an unlucky Easter Monday visit (closed, unlike pubs in the UK), we finally got there and we weren't disappointed. Brilliant variety of craft beers from a cooperative that include "chefs" who travel and learn their techniques. This includes bottled offers such as lambic like sours and some killer Baltic stout. On draft at the time was a really good oatmeal stout (it's still April, so good in the chill), a ruby red ale and a very odd Grape beer that is blended with the local white wine. A very good summer beer I think. They also make their own red wine and Raki. I didn't see any food so can't comment. If it's like the beer I'm sure you won't be disappointed. The place is typical of the pop up brewery taps you will be familiar with in other parts of Europe, certainly in my part of the UK. Not so typical here in Croatia, which makes it all the more worth the 10 minute walk from the waterfront. The people were really nice (as were the dogs) and I'm looking forward to my return. Top job guys - you're forgiven for leaving the sign out on Monday!

A ten minute walk from the old town (uphill!) brings you to this rustic taproom. it's situated in a residential area of tower blocks, and has a good sized outdoor area which is sheltered from the road and feels cosy and relaxing. The beers (6 on tap, more in the fridge) come from the brewery behind and are solid, with the specials being more adventurous; the cherry Baltic Porter and Fennel Gose were excellent. Well worth a walk up from the centre to see the authentic side of beer in Zadar, good prices too, and the bar staff was really helpful and friendly too.

Excellent brewery in Zadar, located a 20/25 minute walk from the old town. 6 different keg beers on when I visited along with an assortment of bottles available. The beers which I had were all great and a welcome change from a lot of the Croatian macro beers which are common elsewhere. They have a large beer garden and I wasn’t aware of any indoor seating so I’m guessing maybe they don’t open during the winter. The highlight of the visit was the resident cat who was very friendly and obviously enjoyed the beer too.

A really nice place fitted in new Zadar. No issue with finding place whatsoever. The level of craft beers offered is very decent and on a European level, some of them being better than others of course. Untappd is a good indicator. The service was also great and helpful so if you have issues with choosing a beer go and ask. Tasters are also available!

My only note is that I would also like to have a possibility of buying bottles of other Croatian breweries at the bar but such an option may be available...
