Wow , what to say first. This is the WORST hotel I’ve ever stayed in. Location, in the middle of know where 25 mins bus ride to the nearest town/shops. rooms, ok if your on a budget, tired run down, my bed had a DISGUSTING huge yellow stain on the mattress topper pic below, the place needs a total renovation imo. FOOD, this is the worst part of my stay over Christmas, we paid for B&B but found we ad to travel Miles to the nearest restaurant so chose the hotel €15 a night, clearly a lot of the food was reheated from the day before, sweets were put out each day until they were finished. There were only a few choices 3-4 diners and 2-3 sweets. Now we didn’t know untill the day that Christmas Eve and Christmas Day the price increased to €25 this was supposed to include a choice of meets , neither the gammon or stuffed turkey were real meet, it was horrid and very disappointing , Christmas Day no extra meet, just beer stroganoff or chops lol, pic below bear in mind this was my Christmas dinner. The chops actually gave me jaw ache, thin and very chewy. We couldn’t go anywhere else as no busses in service on these days. Now i never like to complain but something needed to be said. I spoke to the receptionist who was ok at first, (but changed her tune as she told me my dad had been given a €25 refund just for his dinner that he didn’t eat because he couldn’t chew it, and I’d failed to mention this) wtf has that got to do with my complaint, she told me The manager would Talk to me the next day, we had the pleasure of a very rude abrupt young assistant manager, she treated me as if I was trying to scam them out of money, I explained I only wanted to complain she just didn’t understand me . She was on the offensive as soon as we met her. She did offer me a €15 dinner for my last night but I politely declined and went to the town. Oh and look out for the horrid little bugs everywhere mostly around the the coffee machine next to the kitchen pics below. I almost forgot the building work, apparently changing door locks. Builders using routers on door day and evening.at least 10 other people staying with us complained at...
Read moreWe have been coming to the navarria hotel for quite a few years . But after not being able to visit cyprus for a couple of years we were able to return last year and this year . On my return I was pleasantly suprised how the hotel had changed . Last 2 stays we haved loved it here .
We dont look for a typical Hotel thats full of Brits . We prefer a relaxed atmosphere . Amongst different nationalities. Which we find a great experiance.
The pool area is relaxed and we can chill . Our Grandson loved the pool had so much fun learning to swim . Rooms are simple clean with fresh towels daily . we have a great nights sleep also . Buffets for breakfast and dinner are perfect for us to . Staff are friendly in particular Athena she is very friendly welcoming and has a gentleness about her which makes her presence at reception a very warm and inviting one when you walk in . Abu also in particular has a lovely smile very helpful and a fantastic little worker . We can't wait to go back next year with our family again . The improvements made to the hotel was definitely worth the investment. The only negative i can give is the pool could do with a bit of a clean . Other than that we really enjoyed our stay and happy with the experiance . Its so close also to everything . Beach , shops , bus stop places to eat .
We would recommend to anyone looking for a relaxed...
Read moreWhen we arrived we were made very welcome. We were there for Christmas, the room was very basic, no drawers, no tea making facilities, but you can borrow a kettle from reception. No hairdryer. Breakfast was ok, we went b&b, so to have evening meal was 15Euros, this included a drink from the bar. Christmas Eve was supposed to be special food, it was 25Euros. Absolutely disgusting food, so called turkey, and gammon, the veg is frozen. We couldn’t go out for a meal as we were a long way from any facilities. No entertainment at all, day or night. Bars closed at 11 o’clock, which is terrible. We never have complained in all our years of going on holiday, but we did this time, assistant manager came to see us, but she was already up for an argument, she didn’t get one. No people skills at all, she offered a free meal for us, we said we would rather have a bag of crisps. I wanted to come home early, but stuck it out. I definitely do NOT recommend this place . The staff on the other hand are lovely. There’s nothing for children at all. No pool table, no hairdressers. The toilet from the bar is below ground, no good if your disabled. The nearest place is about 15 minutes on the bus. The best meal we had was the Gerrard bar, beautiful meal next to supermarket. Never ever go there again, waste of...
