At Axartis, the first thing you notice is the atmosphere: warm lighting, a wooden pergola overhead, and pots of lush green plants everywhere. Soft, Sade-like music plays in the background, giving the place a relaxed and welcoming feel. The chef — a friendly local — not only cooks but also serves the dishes himself, which immediately sets the tone for a personal dining experience.

We started with homemade taramas, served with toasted bread and olives. It was unlike any taramas we’d had before: blended with garlic and brightened with a generous touch of lemon. The flavor was tangy, bold, and perfectly balanced — a dish worth returning for on its own.

For the main courses, we tried the Tsipoura (sea bream) and the Pork Chop. The sea bream was perfectly cooked, tender, and full of flavor. The pork chop, though, was the true standout — in fact, the best we’ve ever had. Grilled over charcoal, juicy inside, with a vibrant punch of lemon and salt. When asked about his secret, the chef simply said: “Good fresh meat, charcoal grill, lemon, and salt.” Nothing more, nothing less.

As locals, we can confidently say that Axartis is a gem: a place where atmosphere, simplicity, and outstanding food come together beautifully. An experience that deserves to...

We recently had the pleasure of dining at this charming family-owned restaurant for lunch, and it was truly an exceptional experience. From the moment we walked in, we felt the warmth of this place.

We ordered the chicken salad and fresh sea bream, and both dishes were nothing short of wonderful. The chicken salad was a delightful blend of flavors and textures, and the fresh sea bream was cooked to perfection. The quality of the ingredients and the care put into the preparation were evident in every bite.

What made our visit even more remarkable was the outstanding service we received. My wife has specific dietary requirements, and the owner, Dimitri, went above and beyond to accommodate her needs. He not only provided us with suitable options but also ensured that the meal was both delicious and safe for her to enjoy.

The cozy atmosphere of the restaurant, the delectable food, and the exceptional service left a lasting impression on us. We left with full hearts and full stomachs, eager to return and savor more of their culinary delights. If you're seeking a memorable dining experience with a personal touch, this family-owned gem is the place to visit. Thank you, Dimitri, and your wonderful team for a...

Probably the first time in my life that 5 stars is not enough. We came for a family dinner after 3 evenings of disappointing choices. I only wish we found this place sooner. We love food, we love to celebrate eating and we always look for unforgettable culinary experience. This place had it all. It’s a family owned traditional restaurant. We had pork chops, calamari, village salad, tzatziki, garlic bread and spaghetti, we also tried the off menu orange cake, chocolate cake and ice cream. Everything was delicious, vegetables were super fresh and the dishes were just perfectly seasoned, portions are more than decent, not comparable to any other place we went to. If that was not enough, the owner who served us was the nicest guy ever!! Spent time talking to us, offered advice and made sure we were comfortable. Absolutely amazing experience!! Thank you so much, Axartis, for such a...
