My wife and I stayed at the Mon Reops hotel for a few weeks at the end of May and beginning of June and we had a wonderful time. ||The rooms are generously proportioned with all the kitchen facilities that you would need to cater for yourselves, including a kettle.||The Wi-Fi service was good with 100mbps up/down in the communal reception area where you can sit and work and slightly lower performance in the apartments but still good enough to work. I was advised that the performance in the apartments will soon also be improved even further.||The shower delivers piping hot water, the bed and pillows were comfortable, and the breakfast was good quality with plenty of variety. ||The hotel is close enough to Ayia Napa to get there in a few minutes with plenty of bus services stopping outside. What you don't get is the noise that comes with the centre of the town. ||The hotel is also in close proximity to the Macronissos beach which provides an alternative option the extremely large pool should you wish to try something a little different. ||For me, however, the very best feature was the customer service from the boss Dimi, through to the ladies managing the facility and breakfast and even the maintenance guy who I now consider a good friend. ||We had a great time and, unsurprisingly, we are already planning to revisit next year!||Thank you, Mon Repos, for a great...
Read moreThe owner "flouris" as he presented himself to us even though layer on he admitted himself that he is just working there ,he came to me yesterday (my first day at the hotel) and told me to remove my dog from my own thighs because i was sitting on the sunbed with my dog , he started insulting and shouting at me to remove the dog! Today he created a scene in front of other guests about my boyfriend holding the dog in his hands without a leash please keep in ming my dog is a mini chihuahua 7months old with literally no teeth and always by my side!!! He started shouting and creating false narratives about me and my boyfriend and how the dog roamed around and was near other kids which is not true! Later on he continued telling us if we dont like it here we can leave! So thats when i got real angry i got up got ny stuff put everything in the hotel (as well as the dog) and went to confront him , firstly thay we did not break any rules against the hotel since the dog was in our hands and not free without a leash and the way he talked to us as a stuff was super unreasonable and unprofessional both times! I asked to speak with the manager! So us a conclusion not every "PET-friendly hotel is actually pet friendly" dont fall for this propaganda their setting since the only thing your pet is allowed to do is be with you in one room!...
Read moreFab hotel just outside the main town and close to all best beaches. Lovely swimming pool and the accommodation of which I’d guess there are 20 or so are more like little apartments with bedroom, bathroom and main lounge /dining with kitchen area. Well equipped, clean with attentive and extremely friendly staff. Breakfast is good if you decide to take it, simple but inexpensive and tasty. Really honestly can’t find any fault in anything about this great place and if I were to visit Ayia Napa again this is where I’d stay. If you’re looking for a lively hotel with 24 hour manned bar and on tap cocktails this may not be the place for you, it’s a quiet paradise away from all the madness that Ayia Napa offers but close enough to enjoy that if you like with cabs less than €10 into town...
