The Dome Beach — Attraction in Ayia Napa

Never a 4☆plus, very tired hotel with crazy rules, worst one is visiting paying guests at the weekend (locals) the hotel literally ignore you and try and charge you for a bed that is free all week, give you small plastic cups when visitors get large plastic or glass, they try to evict everyone from the pool at 6pm when the weather is actually better for everyone and a bit cooler (pool cleaning is done before it opens at 9am), ice cream at 10-12 and 2-6 at pool bars even though they are there in the freezers, we stayed in room 146, door doesn't shut properly, extractor fan in bathroom doesn't work, the bath seal is poor leaks on the floor, air con is t the best (maybe because the door doesn't shut fully) bed has a matress that is 3inch thick and a 2inch matress topper, not exactly 4☆ luxury, the furniture I'd a mix of old and some new, bed sheets had a rip in it, the towels are frayed on the ends on some towels, feature restaurants were half hearted effort tbh and the meals were a mixed bag generally a bit tasteless, we asked to keep the room on reception didn't seem bothered at all just said no, generally the staff work hard and do a decent job it would seem the management are driving the silly rules, ALSO BE AWARE this is a popular wedding venue so it is lively, VERY LIVELY. Amazing place with lovely holiday rep's especially Thomas Cook's they have great fun games for children including water pong basketball and splash bingo. The room was very big and and a sofa bed (for children), and a massive double bed for adults! It has a bathroom with a shower and toilet and you get three meals a day! For all inclusive you get what you want like free drinks and ice cream! The beach front is lovely with white sand and clear water. Vrátili sme sa so snúbencom z dovolenky na Cypre z hotela Dome Beach. So snúbencom sme obaja sklamaní a cítíme sa oklamaní. Pani v cestovke nás pred kúpou zájazdu uisťovala, že určite budeme spokojní, bude sa nám veľmi páčiť lebo tam sama bola a bola veľmi spokojná a nebude dôvod, že by sme sa prišli po dovolenke sťažovať. Zaplatili sme príliš veľa peňazí za to, kam sme skutočne prišli. Prvé sklamanie bolo hneď po príchode na hotel, otrasný špinavý koberec, keď som išla po chodbe až mi bolo zle z pohľadu na neho. Druhé sklamanie bolo keď sme prišli na izbu, vôbec nezodpovedala fotkám v ponuke. Povedali sme si, že si z toho nebudeme nič robiť, veď tam prídeme aj tak večer len prespať a osprchovať sa. Avšak zarazil ma hrdzavý sprchový kút s vodným kameňom, kde mi bolo naozaj nepríjemné sa sprchovať. Izba bola úplne hlboko pod štandardom, nikdy nám nedoplnili šampón, nevymenili uteráky, na zemi boli mravce. Skúlili sme taliansku reštauráciu a la carte a dostali sme mrazenú pizzu :D Dome Beach za nas ani náhodou nespĺňal 4*, starý hotel a fotky nezodpovedajú realite. Nikdy viac by sme sa pre tento hotel už nerozhodli, príliš veľa peňazí za malo muziky. Horšiu dovolenku som ešte nezažila. Reklamovali sme túto dovolenku a manažment hotela odmietol reklamované nedostatky a potvrdil, že nám boli poskytnuté všetky služby v súlade s opisom v katalógu a so zmluvou o zájazde :D Ostatným ľuďom by som odporučila vyhnúť sa hotelu veľkým oblúkom.
