I recently hosted a celebration here with over 100 guests, and thanks to Hasan and his team, it was an absolutely perfect evening. Every guest was well taken care of, the food came out on time, the service and food was perfect and the atmosphere was amazing.

Don't get me wrong, the food was quite tasty and nice atmosphere, but low morale and chaotic behaviour of the staff completely ruined our experience. We ordered one fix menu and one side dish, because we have experienced before the portions are extremely big in Northern Cyprus. Then I asked waiter to bring us white wine, specifically asking for the cheapest table wine they have, since we are students traveling on budget. Probably because we have "beaten the system" by ordering just one fix menu, they decided to take a revenge on us by serving us a bottle of white wine TWICE the price of ordered food, which we realized during paying for the bill. NOT RECOMMENDED. If you're a tourist, go and eat somewhere else where they will serve you with respect...

I came here on two separate occasions, the first being with another two people and we had the set meze menu which meant all night long the waiters would top up our hot/cold meze and the chef would bring fresh piping hot meats straight off the bbq direct to our table which was awesome.

The other time I went alone and had a slow cooked chunk of lamb on bone with potatoes and a few sides which was to die for. All in all I’ve enjoyed both my visits to this awesome place.

Although I heard a few rumours of tourists being overcharged here, I must admit I was hesitant about going but I went ahead with it. Weather I got treated differently because I speak the local language too? I have no idea but I would...
