Such a shame about this restaurant, the food quality for the price they are charging is terrible. The lamb chops were so tiny, with no sides at all except for stale lavash bread. We also a ordered lamb ribs which should come with a warning, they were so vile, more like boiled down meat on bones which apparently are slow cooked in the oven then finished on the bbq but it doesn’t say that on the menu. They were so bad they were inedible and had to be sent away. The service was also chaotic, our waiter kept disappearing, we had to ask for the same thing 3 times, yet there was so much staff running around. It wasn’t until we had to make a complaint they actually paid attention to us. The only thing we can recommend at Komur was the muhammara starter unfortunately. Service not up to the standard we experienced on Christmas Day which was faultless. Tonight we ordered drinks and had to remind the waiter after a 10 minute wait. We ordered starters of which only half came on time, the other half, after reminding the waiter arrived with the main course. We had to remind the waiter again that one of our guests drink had not arrived. Throughout the whole meal people around us were smoking, despite there being a number of no smoking signs, BUT, despite the signage, there were ashtrays on every table. Totally not impressed tonight, my last night in Cyprus was spoiled by such mediocre service, but to be fair when it arrived, the good was excellent. We visited the restaurant on a Friday and found out that it’s best to book a table in advance for weekends (during weekdays it’s usually not necessary). The manager greeted us warmly and found a great table even though we didn’t have a reservation. There are Russian-speaking waiters who helped us choose our dishes. Both the service and kitchen were impressively quick. What stood out the most was the staff’s polite and attentive attitude.

The restaurant also has a beautiful outdoor area and a playroom for kids with staff supervising inside. There was live music in the evening, which created a wonderful and relaxing atmosphere. This is the best restaurant I’ve been to in...
