This shop used to be good, but lost the point. When your goal is simply making profit, then there's no point in staying in the restaurant business.
Went from a bistro-type restaurant with cozy vibes and good food, to a confusing, no concept, wannabe fine dining style restaurant with whatever-quality food and weird combinations that don't make sense.
Even though we had a reservation, they had us sit at a (closed at the time) different business adjacent to embers which was extremely weird. We expressed our dissatisfaction, but even though they "apologised" they didn't seem to really care. The waiters are extremely polite, but they have not been trained or worked in fine dining before. While it's okay to have inexperienced staff, the food prices (relative to the portions) cannot be justified. It is WAY WAY overpriced for sitting on $3 metallic chairs and $5 metallic tables - my kindergarten had better seatings.
One of the things we ordered was the halloumi. 1/10. It was extremely salty and the prickly pear cactus seeds on top of it made absolutely no sense. Halloumi is soft and it doesn't make sense to have those large seeds that aren't meant to be chewed on top of it.
However, the ABSOLUTE WORST was the sirloin steak. For the absurd price of €45, we got a chewy, blant and ULTRA OVERCOOKED piece of meat that we only ate because we aere famished. The steak was borderline disgusting and no self-respecting chef would serve it - this tells us a lot about what type of business this is.
To the business: Even though you have your circle and don't care if you just permanently lost 3-4 good-tipping customers, the "success" is just temporary due to the "new shop hype". If you keep being so volatile when it comes to quality and service, then you will not last. Also, when you make multiple mistakes with a table, you don't just throw one tiny portion of tiramisu and feel like you have made up for acting like a third-rate business. Grow up, getting help from actual professionals will not...

Ambiance: Inside it is tiny and simple. If you prefer to get close contact to the neighbours next table then you will feel very well. You can listen to them easyly. The distance from one table to the next one is 25 cm! Be very careful when there are standing bottles and glasses on the table when you want to stand up to avoid that it will fall down. Due to open windows you can listen to the noice of the traffic. Inside you can listen to the background music. Alternative you can stand up and watch the staff while preparing meals. There are only 7 tables available.

Read moreEmbers offers a cozy and pleasant atmosphere, with simple yet beautiful decor that immediately makes you feel comfortable. I had reserved a table in advance—as did everyone else, it seems, because the place was fully booked. That’s always a good sign!
We tried a variety of dishes: warm bread with date butter, sea bass, sardines, cauliflower, pork, and finished with a dessert. Everything was beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. The portions were more than enough for two, and each dish had its own distinct character.
The wine selection was impressive and paired wonderfully with the food. Service was fast, friendly, and attentive—exactly what you hope for when dining out.
Overall, Ember's strikes a lovely balance between fine dining and a relaxed night out. The experience is totally worth it, and I’d absolutely recommend it to anyone visiting Limassol. I’ll definitely be coming back to explore more...
