Mizu Mazu Asian restaurant — Restaurant in Limassol Municipality

A new opened restaurant right in the heart of Limassol. It's situated on the rooftop of NYX hotel. The view from the veranda to the sea is fascinating and fantastic. The staff are extremely friendly and polite. What's more, this is the only place in Limassol that has buttons for calling a waiter right on the table. This saves a lot of time. But the food is awful. The restaurant is specialized in Asian food, but they don't know how to make it at all. We ordered sushi that proved to be made of the salted salmon instead of fresh one (if I were Japanese, I'd better kill myself than trying such a dish); the tempura was extremely fatty (60% of flour and only 40% of prawns inside); prawn gyoza was the only dish that could be eaten in full, but just for the reason that the restaurant obviously buys frozen gyoza in one of the Asian supermarket in Limassol. We regret not haven read the other reviews. The rooftop is really nice, the atmosphere is really great and the staff is friendly. The food... wow. I wonder if they taste what they serve, they really should try. The sushi itself was not that bad, however the soy sauce had an aftertaste that can wake the dead. We asked for teriyaki, even worse, the aftertaste was so spectacularly bad it was hard to wash away with the drinks. The miso soup was nearly ok. Worst thing is that the prices for the sushi are twice as high as other sushi restaurants in the area. Rooftop views are really cool, and the atmosphere is nice. We enjoyed the coctails as well. I cannot say anything for the food. We ordered only duck baos, and they were fine; price is a bit high. Excellent service! Staff was friendly...
