Read moreI feel compelled to share my disappointment with the management's handling of the situation. Sailing Zatara was quoted a price of 800 euros for a month's stay at the marina. After sailing 5,000 miles, they arrived only to be told that the actual cost would be 3,000 euros, citing a "mistake" in the initial quote.
While errors can happen, it is the responsibility of the management to address them fairly and transparently. In this case, Tom, the manager at Limassol Marina, failed to own up to the mistake or offer any reasonable compromise. This lack of integrity reflects poorly on the marina's overall reputation and could potentially be in violation of Cyprus Consumer Protection Law (Law 103(I)/2007).
In our interconnected world, where social media plays a significant role in sharing experiences and forming opinions, it is crucial for businesses to prioritize customer satisfaction and maintain a positive reputation. The way this situation was handled by Limassol Marina has left a negative impression on the cruising community, and I would advise potential visitors to be cautious when considering this marina for their stay.
I sincerely hope that the management of Limassol Marina will take this feedback to heart and work towards resolving the issue with Sailing Zatara in a fair and transparent manner. As customers, we value honesty and integrity in our interactions with businesses, and it is essential for Limassol Marina to demonstrate their commitment to upholding these values.
Until such a resolution is reached and clear efforts are made to improve the marina's approach to customer service, I cannot, in good conscience, recommend Limassol Marina to fellow sailors...
Read moreLimassol Marina is honestly one of those places that feels like it can never be replaced. It’s not just about the yachts or the fancy vibe—it’s the whole atmosphere that makes it so special. Every time I go there, it reminds me of good days, the kind where everything feels calm, happy, and just right.
One thing that always stands out to me is how tidy it is. The paths are clean, everything is so well-kept, and it just feels nice to walk around without any distractions. It’s like they put real care into keeping the place perfect for people to enjoy.
The restaurants there are incredible. Whether you’re in the mood for fresh seafood by the water or something a bit more casual, there’s always something good to try. And the views while you eat? Unreal. Sitting by the ocean with the yachts in the background makes even the simplest meal feel special.
And let’s talk about the views. The water, the sunsets, the boats—it’s all just stunning. You can’t really describe it until you’re there, seeing the sun hit the water in that perfect way that makes you want to just stop and take it all in. It’s one of those spots where you can sit quietly and feel totally at peace.
For me, Limassol Marina brings back memories of good times, but it also creates new ones every time I visit. It’s such a unique place that you really can’t compare to anywhere else. If you’ve been there, you know what I mean. And if you haven’t, you’re missing out on something...
