Lab Bar & Restaurant — Restaurant in Limassol Municipality

Went on Valentines Day 14.02.2023 without a reservation. Greeted very warmly by the host, were seated at the bar because there were no tables available at that time. The bartender was very helpful and kind and prepared delicious cocktails for us. With our drinks we ordered food as well. We were later seated at a table outside. The place is nicely decorated and has a lovely atmosphere. However the food was VERY late. It took more than one hour for the food to get to the table. When it did it was barely warm. We had the salmon, the pork tenderloin and the mushroom risotto. Salmon tasted good (but again, barely warm), Tenderloin was great but the puree was really sweet (again, barely warm). Both these dishes had “grilled” vegetables, which were BARELY cooked. Also had the mushroom risotto, which was overcooked. Service quality lacked as well and in my opinion the restaurant was understaffed. Only 2 servers for the whole place-therefore poor and late service. We’ve been coming here for years. Tucked away, with a wonderful garden area out back, from the front, you’d never guess what Lab has to offer.

This place become one of our favorite drinking spots. Classy, ambiance perfect, lighting romantic. Staff professional.

Many reviews here target the food, but for us it was all about the friendly staff, good service, great drinks and vibe.

After the Covid lockdown and us moving across town, we visited Lab after over a year of not being there. The staff immediately remembered us and even our regular drinks order from our past visits.

This is something you don’t find often.

Lab is good and probably one of the best spots in Limassol for;

Ordered a salad and specified without cheese, when the food arrived my food was covered in cheese. I sent it back, and then it was brought out a second time, and underneath the salad was lots of cheese, which was evident that they had just taken the cheese off the top of my original meal. We didn’t get an apology, we walked out and the manager tried to make us pay for the 2 drinks we had ordered, and still didn’t offer an apology. Overpriced, terrible service, would not return.
