CON FUSION!!!
Almost everything that could go wrong with this place unfortunately did.
We were looking forward to come to this restaurant for quite some time, unfortunately though our anticipation and overal high expectations turned out to be an absolute disappointment.
The place is actually beautiful, sitting on a hill that overlooks Nicosia (both south and the occupied north)
From this point on unfortunately everything was terrible (except from the waiting staff who were good).
Firstly the person at the door, who i assume is manager (possibly the owner) gave out a rough and imposing appearance.
On the table waiting for us was a plate of stale and soggy prawn crackers.
We then ordered a very nice bottle of white wine that was warm and needed 30 minutes in an ice bucket for it to be drinkable.
The food that we ordered was spring rolls, poppadoms (also soggy), followed by sizzling beef, tikka masala, vegetarian korma, a curry and 2 rice options.
The beef was of the lowest quality, being chewy and fatty.
The tikka masala was not chicken fillet (as the manager assured), and having to pay over 16 euro for 5 cubes of chicken is disgraceful.
The vegetarian korma was so thick, it could have easily been used for wallpaper glue.
The restaurant itself (Mont Parnasse Asian Fusion) ,as it's name states is totally misleading since it isn't Fusion. Fusion is when you take a dish and ad a twist inspired from a different country. This place is shamelessly called fusion just to give an excuse of having multiple cusines to cover a wider array.
This place could and should be great, unfortunately though it seems confused and stuck by cutting corners, and following the lead and orders of management that seem to be absolutely lost and stuck in time
1 Star for the food is an overate.
3 Stars to the waiting staff (would be higher if it wasn't for the sour person at the door who also takes...

They charge €30 per person, quality was excellent, apart from the duck with pancakes, which was dry and not up to their usual standard.Their giant prawns were simply exquisite. The place was full and ambience delightful, the service attentive, will be even better, when it's warm enough to sit outside and admire the view of the Kyrenia mountains. It was 1st night that China Spice had moved to its new home. Our favourite Ayios Onofouris wine was at a perfect temperature. We were there for our 35th Wedding Anniversary and it...
Read moreI never thought I would say this about Mont Parnasse, but I did not have a good experience at all. I came from abroad, booked a table there to enjoy my evening (birthday) but went back home completely upset. The staff was rude, and arrogant. Making commentary that made us feel unwelcomed. Not only that the staff were disrespectful towards us. The foods quality has gone down extremely in comparison to when we went in 2019. I would never visit the place again. Whenever we went in the past we always had the top quality but this time it was a complete...
