Imperial Chinese Restaurant — Restaurant in Nicosia

For ne Imperial Chinese might be one of the best Chinese restaurants in Nicosia. I visited this restaurant a lot of times and I was never disappointed. The atmosphere and decor are amazing and the service excellent with friendly and attentive staff.

Some of my favorite dishes are the following:

The peking duck is perfect as a starter as it is ideal for sharing. The duck is well seasoned perfectly cooked and combined with the hoisin sauce and soft pancakes they create the perfect bite.

Also we usually get some sushi as a starter. They offer a great variety of rolls and most of the ones i tried so far were pretty good but not the best sushi I had. My favorite is the deep fried roll with salmon.

The beef with hoisin sauce is a must! The meat is really soft and the sauce has a rich sweet and savory flavor. Is literally addictive and I get it every single time!

Additionally their chicken teriyaki is divine. If you like teriyaki sauce then it is a must!

Also they serve one of the best sweet and sour chicken I’ve ever had. The chicken is perfectly coated with a delicious breading which becomes crispy when fried.

A big plus is that they always treat you with a delicious dessert at the end!

The portions are ideal and for a Chinese restaurant the prices are relatively reasonable.

I have visited this restaurant on several occasions with friends and family, and each visit has been a truly enjoyable experience.

The service provided by the staff is consistently outstanding. Unlike many places in Cyprus where customers are sometimes made to feel like an inconvenience, the team here genuinely goes above and beyond to make you feel welcome and valued.

As for the food, we ordered a variety of dishes, all of which were delicious. Despite being a busy Friday evening with the restaurant completely full, the food arrived promptly, warm, and perfectly prepared.

The dessert was the ideal conclusion to our meal—simply delightful!

Imagine calling and asking if there is space at 9 for reservation and they say yes. You go in at 9, and they tell you that you have to go stand at the bar (with other people that had reservations as well) and wait until you get seated because they were full. You get seated at 9:17 and the excuse was "people were not leaving 'on time' from their tables", meanwhile there was no time limit set from the start. Finally we were seated (table for two) next to another table for two, because there was no other space. Also, as we were eating, we saw a lot of people were having the same experience as us, and were standing at the bar and had to wait to be seated.
