We flew in from Scotland to Cyprus on our honeymoon and my wife favourite cuisine is Chinese so we checked local Chinese restaurants near Luis Paphos Breeze where we were staying on our honeymoon, we even checked the restaurant menu online and the sauce was there, my wife will only eat chips, egg fried rice with Chinese curry sauce, we arrived already known what we will order for our romantic dinner for 2, our first meal out on our honeymoon, it was even on the menu it was stated it was available and waitress comes out and we order our food only to be told 5 minutes later that there was no curry sauce and did my wife want something else, my wife and I were shocked, a Chinese restaurant without Chinese curry sauce is not right, maybe this chinese curry sauce is not a big thing with locals but you should still have this sauce for tourists, I had duck chow mein which was ok, if we return to Paphos we will not be going here as this was a big let down, my wife eating chips with fried rice dry I felt so so bad for her as it looked so plain and tasteless as she did not have her favourite Chinese curry sauce on a romantic dinner for 2 as we travelled all the way from cold rainy Scotland to warm sunny Cyprus for this let down Mr Woo, not impressed at all, please do not come here if you are wanting Chinese curry as you will be let down massively. And also they take away our prawn crackers when our meals are being served, prawn crackers should be on the table with your meal so...
Read morePossibly the worst food I have ever eaten in a restaurant. First tried the vegetables with tofu and peanuts and the Manchuria balls. Both were too sweet too eat and some of the vegetables were inedible. They kindly allowed us to order something different and brought the broccoli with cashews which was so salty I had to strain the sauce off the broccoli pieces. The Chinese curry was a horrid concoction of cornstarch, salt, and vegetables. Definitely avoid this place.
A few points relating to your reply: I spoke quietly and repeatedly thanked the waitress for doing her best. Is that considered rude? I didn't ask for a bottle of water. I requested a glass of water, something given without asking in every other full service restaurant we visited in Paphos. And yes, I had to drink it with the salty food, We didn't finish the meals. We picked out the vegetables and left the sauce, as by this point we were quite hungry and made do with what there was. My partner is British and prefers to grin and bear it and then write a scathing review. My partner does not eat prawns. It is quite unfair that you don't have a vegan option.
If you look through my reviews you will see that over 90% are positive. For me to write a bad review, there must be a...
Read moreWe had lunch there and it was a big disapointment. Me and my wife we are both vegans and we never had a problem eating at an asian restaurant before. The told us they had nothing to offer us because it might be contaminated. Not even a salad!! At the end there was only one plate that we could have which by the way was terrible! If you are a vegan you better avoid this place!
A few comments on your reply Its obvious from your reply that you are not professional and you need to some basic things since you own a restaurant. We never asked for a salad from a seperate "vegan fridge". The waitress after talking with the chef she came and told us that your vegetables are contaminated. And that salad is cut and prepared on board where you cut meat. First of all this is prohibited for hygiene reasons. Actually this should be reported. A person can get sick because of that. Imagine hearing this from a waitress telling you salad is contaminated. The waitress was really polite and she was only giving us the information. Anyway we felt very unwelcomed and we just wanted to advice other vegans not to visit you since you cant offer vegan options. And you shouldnt advertise as vegan...
