The Flying Pig Sports Bar and Grill — Restaurant in Paphos Municipality

We found this place online and we decided to visit. We tried to book on one day but it was fully booked so we booked for two days after. We was four adults and 6 kids. The Flying Pig is a sport bar that serves mainly burgers. The service was immaculand and as soon as we entered we was seated. We was then brought the menus which was explained in detail. We ordered our food and in 20 minutes, everyone was served. The portions were massive and the quality was excellent. All the kids finished their meal without complain (you know how kids are) and everyone was happy. When they cleaned the table the chef (Mr Panayiotis) joined us and asked us how we found the food. We recently visited this restaurant and ordered 4 different burgers. The meat itself was surprisingly good quality, though the patties were on the smaller side compared to what you’d expect.

What stood out more, however, was the service. The staff came to our table every few minutes to check if we had finished, often trying to clear glasses and plates before we were done. At one point, my drink was still half-full, yet the waiter touched the glass to check and eventually removed it. While attentiveness is appreciated, the constant interruptions made the meal feel rushed rather than relaxed.

Myself and my partner visited 3 nights in a row during our all inclusive stay at the joint hotel - Mayfair Gardens. The food here is outstanding in both quality and freshness. The food is served piping hot and always presented beautifully - yes it does taste as good as it looks! The atmosphere is warm and welcoming from all of the staff, providing excellent hospitality and service (a small example of this was them catering to my specific wants and going the extra mile every single visit.)
