Tyrimos Seafood Restaurant — Restaurant in Paphos Municipality

First look - nice; smart, easy talk with waitress. We decided to order one of the sets. Soon we get salad and bread. Then prawns. And calmar. But my friend is crazy about octopus. We were waiting, and waiting.. And it has been not served. When we asked, the same waitress said: "this is octopus" - pointing at the calmar.. Then we looked at menu, and realized, that not only octopus, but some other things has not been served too. Ok. Some words later it has been said: "octopus is out, sorry", and we get some additional king prawns. "nobody complains" she said - and we agreed. Next day we have been at the same place. We ordered another set - fishes. The waitress remebered us, and first talk was ok - very professional. We liked it. It is hard to say, but this set has not been accurate with menu too.. Some kind of fish was missed. And - once again, instead of saying the truth, she tried to cheat us.. So - my advice - if you want to eat there, and specially - if you want to order one of their sets - maybe take a pen with you and make something like a checklist - because it is possible, you won't get what...

In opposite of some great reviews we read, we had a bad experience.

We were seated and waited for 20 minutes before we grabbed our own menu because we were done waiting.

After ordering the Meze, which was praised by many we waited for about 40 minutes before anything came, not even some bread and olives. To keep us busy.

When the food finally arrived, I unfortunately was not worth the wait.

The fries were lying in a pool of oil and were soggy. Most other "fried" food were not crispy and browned at all.

We had to wait a very long time between every dish, and not once we're we asked if the food was ok, or if we wanted anything to drink.

After a while I asked to have whatever was cooking to go so we could leave and try to save the evening.

Only after that did the owner or head server tell us they were understaffed and sorry for the inconvenience.

Well... You could have said that at the beginning... And charge us a bit less for the disappointment you called food.

Worst food and service I've had in Al long time.

I hope the next people who go here have a better time than we did. It can't...

It was awful! At first we were not allowed to sit at the table by the window, as it was allegedly reserved, although the restaurant was filled to a maximum of 10%. When we left, there was the same number of guests . I ordered a seafood salad and got a terrible salad with crab sticks and mayonnaise, it was awful! My boyfriend ordered sea bass , it was normal compared to my salat. All the local visitors around were given a complement in the form of a watermelon, but we did not receive it. It was very unpleasant, because we could not sit down for a free table, which we wanted and felt like unwanted guests in this restaurant. The second waiter who brought the bill was polite, but the first who took the order and looked like the owner was as rude...
